This is my review section based on my own personal experiences and passion for the game. These are all I could remember. I started the idea back in early 2000s but never made something official out of it. Finally, it's all put in one place. I'll rate anything with a pool table. Enjoy and thank you for visiting. -Tam

New Reviews--
I reached over 160 pool places! I'm going to try to hit 10 more by the end of 2011 and 200 by 2012!

#160!! - Society Billiards and Bar, 10 East 21st Street, NYC
Visited on 5.15.11 - I went on one of those quicky NYC weekend trips. It was quite a walk from Chinatown let me tell you. I walked from Chinatown to Union Sq then searched for the nearest pool hall I haven't been to from NYC area. When I got there I found it by the 'Society' flag outside. Guy ID at the door and I walked down some stairs. The Yankee vs Red Sox game was on so the room was mostly focused at the bar. Even if it was Sunday it wasn't very busy at all. The place was very dim and classy looking. About 20 Diamond tables. They had good house cues and very clean and well maintained tables. The floor had a thick rug which felt nice when you walked around the table.

#161 - Knoxville Billiard Club, 3920 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN
Visited on 5.31.11 - I went here for a tournament on a Tuesday. It seemed very busy. The 9fters there for practice was so bad. I don't know if it was only mine, but you can pick the felt up with your hands. The 7ft coin op tables were better but I wouldn't go back. Very local feel and everyone knew eachother.

#162 - Arcadia Space Needle, 115 Historic Nature Trl, Gatlinburg, TN
Visited on 6.4.11 - This place was an arcade with two 7ft coin op tables. Not much to say on it.

#163 - Harry's Westgate Pub & Grill, 63 Westgate Drive, Brockton, MA
Visited on 5.22.11 - Met a few people in Brockton and I thought this was going to be part where the Bowling was since I haven't been here in quite some time. Turns out this was attached to the bowling but it's own place. It was nice. The tables were newly refelted this year my friend told me. There were about 15 9ft Brunswic tables. Very fast felt. There are two levels, one by the window which has a lot of glare during the day. The rates are reasonable with morning deals. Leagues a few times a week and tournaments.

1. Another Korean place in NY where you enter and you go down a ramp, the place looks like Carom but it is divided into two parts with a divider, not like Carom where there is an extra room, but in the middle of the pool hall.
2. Place in/near Knoxville,part of a plaza.
3. Korean place in Jersey City, have togo up the stairs, parking lot right up front of it, I think a an auto repair shop is right next door, on a street that is on a steep slope. Few blocks from an Indonesian area.
4. Philly area: a place where you get the balls from behind a bullet proof glass with rotating doors, near the highway, on a main street.
5. Tyngsboro, MA area- Down the street from Maxamillion's, went for a traveling league stop. Bar with only 2 bar tables.
6. Tulsa, OK area –part of a plaza, counter is on the right side, young people often play poker there
