well after having $2700 of my cues stolen at World Class, most likely by an employee with no support from the owner, and then being denied entry into the $2500 added nine ball event because I am supposedly too good and then find out a player ranked nationally much higher then me is allowed to play, IT IS TIME TO SAY SAYONARA to World (Cl) Ass. I will train in my basement to get ready for the US Open 10 Championship in Vegas this May. Best of luck to all my friends.

Sorry to see you leave us Bob but I certainly understand where your coming from. I personally am going to miss you as a friend and a great player that I enjoyed watching and learning on the table. Best of luck to you.

after a needed six week hiatus I shall return next week to fulfill my obligation to my Monday and Thursday teams. On to victory and Vegas.

Congratulations to Nelson. An excellent performance.

I never understand why local organizers choose to expand eligibility beyond regular players when they finally can have a good money event. Dionne does the same thing. This allows non-regular, top players to take the cash. I would like to see a regular player get to shine.

I know what Bob means by regular player. With no offence directed he means players who give to the league not players who only come in for tournaments because there is money. So no1 should get upset if Bob G. would set up a combo tournament 8 & 9 ball for league players only, n possibly include APA members to increase revenue.

If we had better turn outs from our league members only, then I'm sure Bob G would love to have a in-house tournament for us. It has not been easy to bring up the numbers of attendees. Even with the in-house players, people are intimidating with who in playing that day. Not easy running these tournaments guys and keeping everyone happy. End of the day, just come try to play your best and not be afraid of competition. Just my thoughts.

we finished in 3rd and improved from last years 4th place finish. Excellent performance by the 1st and 2nd place teams.

As I stated above first and foremost, congratulations to Nelson for his performance. But a regular player? Nelson was inducted into the NE Hall of Fame the same week as we won the event. Some folks need to get their facts straight! Ciao
